The latest entrant of the upcoming PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2022 has been revealed. Earlier this month, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla began unveiling names for one of its trademark tournaments. Such names ranged from notable wrestlers to lesser-known stars on the rose. The latest name announced for the PWG BOLA 2022 is none other than “The American Wolf,” Davey Richards. In 2022, he will enter his sixth BOLA. The 2022 tournament will take place on January 29 and 30.

What to Know About “The American Wolf”
As mentioned earlier, the PWG BOLA 2022 marks the sixth time Davey Richards has participated in this tournament. One can consider him a veteran in this field, as he previously entered the BOLA in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2012. He went all the way in 2006, winning that year’s tournament and besting such names as CIMA and current NXT Superstar Roderick Strong along the way. Since 2004, “The American Wolf” has participated in a number of tournaments. Most recently, earlier this fall, he competed in Major League Wrestling’s Opera Cup 2021, emerging victorious in said gauntlet.
Since making his professional wrestling debut in 2004, Davey Richards earned a reputation as one of the most intense wrestlers on the scene. From Ring of Honor to Pro Wrestling NOAH to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, he’s competed in both different promotions and a number of geographical regions. Furthermore, he’s an accomplished singles and tag team wrestler alike, winning the world titles of ROH and PWG, in addition to their respective tag team titles. He found success in IMPACT Wrestling as well, winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship 5 times alongside longtime partner Eddie Edwards as The Wolves.
