Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle of Los Angeles 2022 tournament aims to be a proving ground for up-and-coming wrestlers as well as established names. Case and point, it’s been confirmed that Jack Cartwheel will be taking part in the PWG BOLA 2022, being the seventh name announced by the company. Given the various appearances he’s made for PWG, Game Changer Wrestling, and elsewhere, this tournament may be his biggest opportunity to date. PWG BOLA 2022 will take place on January 29 and 30.

What to Know About “The Rocketwheel”
Jack Cartwheel is a relative newcomer to professional wrestling, starting his training back in 2018. He learned at the North Carolina-based Supreme Pro Wrestling before making his official debut in 2019. He started working for smaller events, including local fairs, but it didn’t take long for notable independent wrestling companies to take notice. In 2021 alone, he competed for PWG, GCW, and Violence X Suffering. Throughout these events, he carved his teeth by competing against such names as Blake Christian, Atticus Cogar, and Tony Deppen, putting on strong performances against them all. Cartwheel made his official PWG debut at this past August’s Mystery Vortex 7, where he lost to Deppen.
Cartwheel boasts an extensive athletic background, too. In addition to pro wrestling, he competed in amateur wrestling, performed gymnastics, and is part of the Varsity Football team for Chapman University in Orange, California. Due to his responsibilities as a college student, Cartwheel splits his time between his education and ongoing independent wrestling endeavors. One can only imagine that a solid performance in the PWG BOLA 2022 tournament will greatly benefit “The Rocketwheel” moving forward.
