WWE NXT Review (7/14/26) – Vice Time, Again

Here is the WWE NXT review of the July 14, 2026, episode. The show was held in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. After a time for title chances last week, this episode is a time for title shots. Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy became the #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship when Layla Diggs challenges Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Four matches were advertised for the July 14, 2026, NXT episode. Naraku faces Tate Wilder (good luck). Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Kali Armstrong will face off in a Triple Threat match for a chance at the NXT Women’s Championship. As announced just above, The Vanity Project puts the NXT Tag Team Championship on the line against Legacy and Van Dux.

Zaria will compete, but not against Layla Diggs. As NXT General Manager Robert Stone announced yesterday, Diggs got injured this weekend at an NXT live event. Her title match is postponed, but Zaria will have a match tonight with the Championship on the line. Who will be her opponent? Because TNA Wrestling could be involved, let’s Nygma-dive into what happened last night.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
