WWE NXT Review (7/14/26) – Vice Time, Again

WWE NXT Review – The Nygma’s View

#AndSTILL The Vanity Project

The Vanity Project continues to stack wins in NXT. They overcame the strong test from the team of Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. Van Dux has been a sensation since arriving in NXT, using his incredible athleticism to keep Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes off balance, pairing seamlessly with Legacy.

The challengers seemed to have the advantage after tandem splashes over the top rope, but Jackson Drake and Myka Lockwood distracted the officials, helping Vanity Project isolate Van Dux. That was all the Champions as they took advantage of the numbers game to retain their title and walk out still champions.

Tristan Angels and the Tooth Fairy

Tristan Angels said God has a creative sense of humor. Shiloh Hill is more than happy to walk around with mud on his boots and dirt under his nails. The Good Lord was overcome with remorse, and he sent Angels as an apology. He has taken it upon himself to take Hill’s tooth to make sure he does not pass himself off as normal.

Hill is a creepy hillbully who was not fit to stand across the ring from him. He will not let Hill lie anymore. Angels put the tooth on the steps and stomped on it. Hill appeared on the ShawnTron. The tooth made him normal, and losing the tooth fixed his mind. You cannot fix the fact that the Fog is Coming. Shiloh cackled.

EVIL Naraku

Naraku continued to bring evil to NXT as he promised, this time crushing Tate Wilder under his boot. Wilder gave it his best shot, but one false move from the daredevil spelled disaster as he was shoved from the top rope and dragged into The Abyss, as Naraku called it.

After the match, NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo arrived on the scene to get into a massive fight with his rival, leading to Naraku inadvertently spraying mist into an NXT security guard’s face.
