Lola Vice said it and did it
Lola Vice is officially the #1 Contender to Kendal Grey and the NXT Women’s Championship after winning a hard-fought Triple Threat Match. Kali Armstrong’s incredible power clashed with Kelani Jordan’s supreme athleticism, and both forced Vice to adjust her game and be more judicious with her strikes.
Vice managed to lock in a deep armbar on Armstrong, but Jordan flew down from the skies with a Frog Splash to break up the submission. Armstrong was brutally KO’d by a Spinning Backfist from Vice and a 450 Splash from Jordan, but Jordan was knocked off the cover with a swift kick, allowing Vice to win and become the #1 Contender.
NXT Review – Meanwhile, backstage
- Myles Borne and Tavion Heights have sights on the NXT Tag Team Championship, while Kam Hendrix has sights on the NXT North American title.
- Saquon Shugars was shocked that OTM did not want to be his partners. Then, BirthRight and OTM had words. Lexis King asked if Bronco Nima told Lucien Price about going to AAA. He said Nima did it for his family. King brought up Nima’s brother and said that Price might need a family. King stated that there is a crack in the foundation for Nima and Price.
- Hank was telling Keanu Carver that he was going to take care of him when EK Prosper warned him. Tank said Keanu is not going to stop. Hank said he will get revenge for what happened. Saquon Shugars said he believes in Hank. They have issues in the past, and he needs partners for the six-man tag match next week. Tank said he cannot trust Sugars.
- Saquon Shugars was with Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey, and he complained that no one wanted to team up with him. Grey said people don’t have a reason to want to work with him. Sinclair apologized for Grey’s honesty, and Shugars was okay with it. Lola Vice showed up and told Grey they aren’t done, and she wants her title back. Grey told Vice she had better win tonight.
- Tony D’Angelo asked Stone why officials were pulling him off Naraku. Stone said he is here to protect Tony. Next week, Tony D will defend the title against Naraku. D’Angelo said that seven days is too far away.
- Saquon Shugars found partners in Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno.
- Before the main event, Jaida Parker told Kali Armstrong to keep that attitude because Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice won’t care about her nickname. Then, Nikkita Lyons, Nattie, and Karmen Petrovic attacked Miss Parker.
- Shawn Spears wants to teach the Culling a lesson after their betrayal.
