2. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho vs. Booker T vs. Rob Van Dam – Survivor Series 2002

History was made at Survivor Series 2002 as the inaugural Elimination Chamber match took center stage inside the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden. Triple H walked into the unknown by defending his coveted World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels, Kane, Chris Jericho, Booker T, and Rob Van Dam. The omens were not promising for Triple H as every champion lost their championship throughout the event, with the Game looking to stop the rot.

The rivalry between Triple H and Michaels was fascinating, and the Game sustained a crushed trachea in the bout. Nevertheless, the World Heavyweight Championship means a lot to Triple H, and he wasn’t going to relinquish it easily. The first Elimination Chamber match delivered, and the final two were Triple H and Michaels. Both were battered and bruised, but the Heartbreak Kid executed Sweet Chin Music on Triple H to become world champion for the fourth and final time in his career.

1. Batista vs. The Undertaker – Survivor Series 2007

For the second consecutive year, Batista headlined Survivor Series in a World Heavyweight Championship match. The Animal was pitted against The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. Batista and Undertaker’s rivalry was unquestionably the year’s most compelling. Undertaker captured the World Heavyweight Championship in their showdown at WrestleMania 23. Their rematch in a Last Man Standing match at Backlash 2007 ended in a draw. However, Batista finally defeated Undertaker at Cyber Sunday 2007, successfully defending the title.

The Animal and Undertaker’s Hell in a Cell match was outstanding, and one of the best in WWE history. Their storytelling for two babyfaces going head-to-head had fans captivated by what they were witnessing. Undertaker was closing in on his sixth world championship, but the Rated-R Superstar Edge returned and clocked Undertaker with a camera. A bloodied Batista took advantage, and he retained the World Heavyweight Championship.
