9. Goldberg vs. Triple H – Survivor Series 2003
Obsessed with holding the coveted World Heavyweight Championship, Triple H challenged Goldberg for the Big Gold Belt in the main event of Survivor Series 2003. The 2003 edition of Survivor Series was superb, but the main event was a sour note to end the show, as Goldberg and Triple H had a boring match. Goldberg captured the World Heavyweight Championship from the Cerebral Assassin, a couple of months prior at Unforgiven 2003.
Triple H’s Evolution stablemates Randy Orton, Batista, and Ric Flair all interfered on the Game’s behalf. Nevertheless, Goldberg held firm, and he removed Evolution from the equation by attacking them with Triple H’s signature sledgehammer. Surprisingly, Triple H was winless at Survivor Series, and his drought continued as Goldberg retained the World Heavyweight Championship with his patented Jackhammer.
