Mexico Team News
Javier ‘Vasco” Aguirre opted to keep Raul Rangel as the starting goalkeeper for El Tri, leaving Guillermo Ochoa on the bench after he was rumored to start earlier in the week. Cesar Montes and Israel Reyes will be the CB pairing, as Mateo Chavez moves into the LB role.
Teenager Gilberto Mora was named a midfield starter in place of Brian Guiterrez, Luis Romo retains his starting spot after scoring against South Korea. Up front, it’s Guillermo Martinez from Pumas UNAM that gets the start, rather than Santiago Gimenez.
Given the lower stakes for this game, expect Mexico to rotate with substitutes as well.
Czechia Team News
Czechia goes for a win and three points they need to reach the knockout stage. Midfielder David Doudera and winger Denis Visinsky will be given their maiden starts in the tournament as the manager has opted to try to spark the attack with two changes. Adam Hlozek plays as the CF, with Patrik Schick sent to the bench on poor form. Lukas Cerv also will be in the midfield.
