Harry Kane was linked with a move to Old Trafford and identified as the club’s number-one target. However, Romano gives an update, which details United are walking away from any potential deal for the England Striker. The update from Romano also dismisses any links involving Neymar moving to Old Trafford. He also mentions that the Red Devils have had contact with Atlanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, but the club are refusing to meet the asking price of close to £60 million.

The update on Osimhen from Romano states that despite the club appreciating the Napoli striker, they have no intention of spending £128 million, even though he scored 31 goals in 39 games in all competitions this season. It remains to be seen which striker will move to Old Trafford this summer, but it seems likely Ten Hag will be welcoming a new forward this summer to help solve the club’s goalscoring problems.
