It appears from the Romano update that Manchester United are looking at alternative defensive transfer targets to Kim, who looks set to depart Napoli and join Bayern Munich. Romano has recently reported that Kim and the Bavarian giants are close to agreeing a deal to finalise the transfer, with the rumoured £ 52 million release clause set to come into effect from July 1, meaning the coming week is vital as alluded to by Romano.

Disasi remains a ‘Concrete Name in the List’ for Manchester United, with Kim expected to join Bayern Munich. The French international appears to have emerged as an alternative to the South Korean defender, with a reported valuation of £43 million. He has also expressed his desire to play Champions League football, which will give Manchester United hope in their pursuit of the French defender.

The French international possesses several strengths, including his physicality, which he uses well in defensive duels. The 25-year-old has impressed in his 129 games for the Ligue 1 club, which saw him feature for France at the World Cup. It appears Kim will join Bayern Munich, but Disasi remains on the list for The Red Devils as a viable alternative to the South Korean international.
