Tottenham Hotspur have been among the busiest clubs in this summer’s transfer window, with Roberto De Zerbi continuing to reshape his squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Six new arrivals have already been confirmed, while several first-team and academy players have departed north London as Spurs look to build a squad capable of avoiding another difficult Premier League season.
However, business appears to be far from over. A number of senior players continue to attract interest from across Europe, while further incomings and outgoings are expected before the transfer window closes.

The Latest on Tottenham’s Summer Transfer Window
Key Players Continue to Attract Interest
Despite already completing significant business, Tottenham continue to face interest in several members of De Zerbi’s squad.
Club captain Cristian Romero remains the most high-profile name linked with a move away. Fabrizio Romano reports that Inter Milan remain interested in the Argentine defender, while Barcelona continue to monitor his situation should they create space for another centre-back.
Lucas Bergvall is another player attracting serious attention. According to John Percy, Tottenham recently rejected a £38 million bid from Nottingham Forest before David Ornstein reported that Newcastle United also saw a £46 million offer turned down.
Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario also appears likely to leave before the end of the window. Ben Jacobs reports that Juventus continue to assess Vicario alongside Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez and a number of other options.
Meanwhile, Djed Spence remains on Inter’s shortlist after Romano reported that the versatile full-back is their preferred option at right wing-back. Everton have also been credited with interest in Spence, although neither club has made a formal move as of yet.
Tottenham Continue to Trim the Squad
While incomings have dominated headlines, Tottenham have also been busy reducing the size of De Zerbi’s squad.
Will Lankshear completed a move to Middlesbrough in a deal worth up to £20 million, with Spurs also securing a 20% sell-on clause and matching rights, according to Michael Bridge.
Academy winger Tynan Thompson has also departed, joining Manchester United in a deal worth up to £8 million, with Alasdair Gold reporting that Tottenham again negotiated both a sell-on clause and matching rights.

Those sales add to the confirmed departures of Luka Vušković, Radu Drăgușin, Alejo Veliz and Alfie Devine, meaning Tottenham have already generated close to £100 million in guaranteed transfer fees this summer, with almost £15 million more available through add-ons.
Elsewhere, Yves Bissouma has left following the expiry of his contract, while João Palhinha and Randal Kolo Muani returned to their parent clubs after their loan spells ended.
Gold also reports that further departures are expected before the deadline, with Kota Takai and Manor Solomon among the players who could still leave.
More Business Expected Before Deadline
Despite already completing six signings and overseeing numerous departures, Tottenham’s summer business appears far from finished.
The club continue to be linked with Manchester City winger Savinho as De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attacking options, while further exits are expected to balance the squad following an extensive rebuild.

With significant investment already made and interest remaining in several senior players, Tottenham are likely to remain one of the Premier League’s busiest clubs throughout the remainder of the transfer window.
