Power Five: The Greatest Factions in WWE History

  1. The Bloodline

The Bloodline is recognized as a pinnacle in helping to propel the success of WWE for the majority of the first half of the 2020s. Founded by Roman Reigns, the faction initially drew from the real-life Anoa’i family and included Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso, and later added Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn as the “Honorary Uce”.

The iconic Paul Heyman managed the group and would also be joined briefly by The Rock in 2024 for WrestleMania 40 as “The Final Boss” to help Reigns try to defeat Cody Rhodes.

What made this group so iconic wasn’t the number of titles that they won, but rather how dominant and long their title reigns were. Reigns held the WWE Championship for 1,316 days, making it by far the longest championship run in modern wrestling history.

The Uso brothers, Jimmy and Jey, also held the Undisputed Tag Team Championship for a record-setting 622 days, the longest reigning Tag-Team Champions in WWE history. These title reigns would make the faction the most decorated and dominant force in recent memory.

The faction’s legitimate family history gave the group a genuine authenticity instead of just a fictional wrestling team, adding realism when the faction inevitably turned on each other.
