Ever since Paul Heyman formed the Vision, Monday Night Raw hasn’t been a safe place for anyone. That’s been evident to everyone, especially General Manager Adam Pearce. He has the most demanding job out of everyone on screen. Dealing with out-of-control wrestlers and situations must be stressful.
Most of that stress has been caused by the Vision. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and, more recently, Austin Theory have been way more menacing since kicking out Seth Rollins. That has caused extra panic among both wrestlers and Pearce.
When he suspended Breakker on the January 12 episode of Monday Night Raw, it was probably the maddest he’s ever gotten on camera. The antagonization continued on the January 19 Raw, as he had multiple run-ins with Heyman during the show. Things will have to get ugly before this situation is resolved.
Pearce Will Send the Vision to Friday Night SmackDown
If there’s someone who is able to have epic meltdowns on camera, ideally, it’s Pearce. His yelling tone, facial expressions, and removal of his glasses when serious guarantee a show for everyone when he gets angry. When Breakker comes back, there’s no question he’ll be more irate than before.
That will mean that Pearce will be back to square one with the faction. He can keep punishing them, but nothing’s going to change when the punishment is over. Sending them to SmackDown will decrease his stress level and change things up on Fridays.
It seems like MFT and the Wyatt Sicks’ rivalry is finally over. The Vision feuding with either of them will be fresh and exciting to watch. Going to SmackDown will help Pearce and the faction equally. Pearce will have an easier work environment, and the blue brand will get new feuds.
Heyman’s Goal of Pearce Out as GM Will Succeed
The past couple of weeks have shown that Heyman has no problem antagonizing Pearce at every opportunity given to him. He said something interesting when he talked to him backstage, which isn’t the “HEY!” microphone mishap that’s gone viral on social media.
Starting out speaking normally, he said that everyone will miss him when he’s gone from Raw, with the last part of that in a slower, more condescending tone. After their initial confrontation, they met up once again.
Pearce said that he wanted to talk to Breakker following Monday. Heyman agreed, but said that he had to be on his best behavior. He wants Pearce to make a mistake. Either he breaks down and quits, or he gets back in the ring. Heyman wants Pearce out as General Manager, and he thinks Breakker is the perfect guy to make that happen.
Pearce’s Patience Will Be Tested Like Never Before
There are many different ways that this situation between Heyman and Pearce will resolve itself. But all of them involve Pearce getting angry by doing something drastic. The meeting next week with Breakker will obviously be disastrous. Now the question is what will he do about it?
He could send the Vision to SmackDown. That will open up new opportunities for the faction. It could also help him to relax for a while finally. But what if Heyman is a step ahead, using Breakker as the catalyst for an extreme meltdown?

Pearce could resign as general manager, fed up with failing to control everyone. He could also provoke him into his first actual match in over a decade. This tension will resolve itself in due time. But, in order for that to happen, Pearce will have to make a decision that will forever change Monday Night Raw.
