Worst: WrestleMania IV: Randy Savage vs Ted DiBiase
WWE’s attempt at a one-night tournament to crown a new WWE Champion sounded like a great idea on paper. Unfortunately, the execution was flawed, and the whole night was a flop. Especially a main event that should have been a crowning moment.
The focus of this main event should have been on Savage and DiBiase, but they took a back seat to Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. The wrestling showcase, which it should have been, was replaced by outside interference and shoddy booking. Even the finish has the Macho Man going over with the help of Hulk Hogan. WWE was not exactly making its new champion look very strong as the show ended.
