2 – Survivor Series 2001
The Invasion storyline reached its climax at Survivor Series 2001, and whilst this show is fondly remembered for the five-on-five traditional Survivor Series elimination match between Team WWE and the Alliance, the undercard was fantastic. Edge and Test clashed in the battle of Canadians, with Edge defeating Test, unifying the Intercontinental and WCW United States Championships in the process.
The Hardys and Dudleys rekindled their rivalry with the stakes high in a steel cage match, with the Dudleys getting one over on their rivals to unify the WWE and WCW Tag Team Championships. Trish Stratus won the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time in a six-pack challenge for the vacant title, and Team WWE capped off a breathtaking show by sending The Alliance out of business.
