4 – Survivor Series 2003
Survivor Series 2003 didn’t disappoint, with several high-stakes matches on the card. The McMahons had contrasting results, as Shane McMahon came up short yet again against Kane in an Ambulance match. However, Mr. McMahon’s triumph over Undertaker in a Buried Alive match signaled the end of Undertaker’s three-year spell as the American Badass.
Other results included Molly Holly and Lita delivering a watchable WWE Women’s Championship match with Molly retaining her title, and The Bashams successfully defended the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The five-on-five traditional Survivor Series elimination match between Raw Co-GMs Eric Bischoff and Steve Austin resulted in Austin’s run as Co-GM being curtailed, with Randy Orton scoring the win for Bischoff’s team by lastly eliminating Shawn Michaels, all thanks to outside interference from his Evolution stablemate Batista. Speaking of Evolution, Triple H failed in his latest bid to bring the World Heavyweight Championship back to Evolution, with Goldberg retaining the gold in a lackluster main event.
