With football’s biggest tournament set to begin in just a few short weeks, national team managers are beginning to announce which players will make their squad. Today, Scotland manager Steve Clarke has named his squad that he will take (barring injuries in the final games of the season) to the World Cup in North America.
The Tartan Army will face Haiti, Morocco, and Brazil as they bid to progress past the group stage for the first time.

World Cup 2026: Scotland Squad Announced
Scotland fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the squad that they will follow in North America, with thousands expected to cross the Atlantic to support their country in Boston and Miami, where their heroes will play their group games.
The Scots will also play two warm-up games ahead of the tournament. They will play Curacao at Hampden before travelling to the USA to play Bolivia in New Jersey.

Here is the squad that Steve Clarke has picked to take to this year’s World Cup in North America. One surprise is the inclusion of Southampton striker Ross Stewart, who won the last of his caps back in 2022.
