It’s a heavily rotated stars and stripes lineup. Giovanni Reyna will get minutes as the #10, he’s joined in the forward positions by Brenden Aaronson, getting his first minutes of the World Cup, Timothy Weah is on the left, with Ricardo Pepi in the main striker role, replacing Flo Balogun.

Sebastian Berhalter steps into the midfield role, and it’s an entirely new defence with Matt Turner in goal, Mark McKenzie and Miles Robinson getting their first minutes of the World Cup. Auston Trusty and Joe Scally were also brought into the XI.

Fenerbahce’s Oguz Aydin will start for Turkiye, with Baris Yilmaz in the striker role, still seeking a first goal at this World Cup. Hoffenheim’s Ozan Kabak will be the starter at CB, while the pairing of Arda Guler and Kenan Yildiz are still the engine of Turkiye. Similar to the USA, this is a heavily rotated lineup from previous versions of this squad we saw on matchday 1 and 2.
