Juventus in Talks to Sign Kaio Jorge From Santos

Santos have confirmed that they are in talks with Juventus regarding the potential transfer of Kaio Jorge from the Brazilian club. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Old Lady are in advanced talks with Santos after having made a €3 million bid for the Brazilian striker. The 19-year-old is in the final year of his contract and will be available on a free transferer in January.

Juventus Closing to Signing Kaio Jorge

Juventus are closing in on signing the highly-rated 19-year-old striker Kaio Jorge from Santos. The Bianconeri are reportedly in the final stages with Santos over the agreement to sign the Brazilian on a €3 million transfer fee. Juventus are believed to have agreed on personal terms with Jorge with the Brazilian set to sign a five-year contract that could see Jorge remain at the Allianz Stadium until 2026.

Kaio Jorge is a product of the famed Santos Academy. The Brazilian joined the youth academy at the age of ten and moved into the first team at age of 15. The striker has been playing in Brazilian top-flight football since he was 16. Jorge made his professional debut in 2018, where he has made 84 appearances and scored 17 goals for the Brazilian giants.

The striker has represented Brazil in their U15 and U17 squads. He was part of the Brazilian squad that won the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil. The striker ended the tournament with five goals, winning the Bronze Boot at the end of the tournament.

Santos President Rueda Confirms Talks with Juventus

Juventus have started talks with Santos regarding the transfer of highly-rated 19-year-old striker Kaio Jorge. The President of Santos, while speaking to Brazilian radio station Estádio 97, said. “We’re in talks with Juventus for Kaio Jorge. They want him but we’ve not decided yet if he’s leaving the club now or in January as free agent. We’re basically forced to lose Kaio.”
