Bayern Munich once again enjoyed a trophy-filled season, winning a domestic treble in the 2025/26 season. The German giants once again won the Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal cup, and the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup. They also reached the semi-final of the Champions League, losing to the eventual winners, Paris Saint-Germain. Harry Kane’s future appears to be the main talking point of the summer, with 12 months left on his contract. As per Graeme Bailey at TEAMtalk, Bayern remain confident about tying their star striker to a new long-term contract.

Bayern Munich Confident Regarding Harry Kane’s Future
Harry Kane’s future is an interesting topic of conversation while he shines at the 2026 World Cup, helping England reach the semi-final at the time of writing. Kane’s 2025/26 was phenomenal, helping Bayern and scoring 61 goals in all competitions, which made it an incredible 146 goals in 147 games since moving to Germany.
With just 12 months left on his deal, it was natural that speculation would rear its head. Naturally, teams would be interested should a striker of Kane’s ilk become available. Despite potential suitors monitoring the situation, TEAMtalk reports that Bayern are confident of tying Kane down to a new long-term contract.
Bayern have been in talks with Kane’s representatives for some time, which appear to have been positive, if Bayern’s lack of concern is anything to go by.

Intermediaries appear to have been sounding out clubs who may be interested in Kane. The Saudi Pro League continues to show their interest in the England skipper, but this doesn’t feel like a realistic move for Kane at this stage of his career.
A switch to Major League Soccer appears more realistic, but even this feels some way off for Kane. Bailey also reveals that Barcelona and Real Madrid have made enquiries regarding the availability of the English striker. His old club, Tottenham, is another club monitoring his situation. Despite now being 32, his form appears better than ever, and signing him would be a massive coup for any club.
