Star Men

Danish midfielder Christain Eriksen may prove to be one of the stars of the tournament. The Tottenham ace is Denmark’s talisman and everything good about the team usually stems from the former Ajax wonder kid. Eriksen can provide the moments of magic that can win Denmark games when their backs are against the wall. The Dane is a threat from free kicks and is also a very good close and long-range finisher.

Peru’s main man is Lokomotiv Moscow star Jefferson Farfan. The former Schalke winger has 25 goals in 83 appearances for his national side. Farfan is also a creator so will be vital for Peru this tournament. At 33 years of age, this is likely to be his last World Cup, so he will hope to go out with a bang.

Predictions and Game Details

The game’s kick off is at 17:00 pm GMT. It is being held at the Mordovia Arena in Saransk. The game is likely to be a closely contested affair with both sides well matched. However, the individual quality of Eriksen will likely swing the game in Denmark’s favour.
