This Saturday marks the twelfth annual WWE Night of Champions 2026, broadcasting live from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Main card action kicks off at 1:00 pm EST, with the pre-show starting one hour prior.
This year marks the third time Saudi Arabia has hosted the event since its debut in 2023. If history is any indication, the crowd will be absolutely electric from start to finish.
It’s safe to say the crowd won’t need much prompting to get energized by this match card. History will be made in the Kingdom as this event crowns both of this year’s King and Queen of the Ring tournament winners. With that being said, let’s take a sneak peek into what promises to be an exciting PLE. Let’s get to it!
Opposites Collide …
In the King of the Ring finals, Jey Uso looks to do what many believed was unthinkable at the start of the tournament: become the King of the Ring. But to achieve that ultimate feat, he will have to get through “The Ruler,” Oba Femi.

On paper, this match looks like a breeze for Femi, but the looming question of a Brock Lesnar appearance is what’s really on everyone’s mind. It would certainly make sense; there is major unfinished business between the two after splitting their first two encounters, with Femi winning at WrestleMania and Lesnar answering back at Clash in Italy.
Putting aside the unknowns, one thing that feels like a certainty is that if Uso wins, he will likely challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. Meanwhile, if Femi wins, he’s likely on a collision course with “The OTC” Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The burning question heading into Saturday is whether Jey Uso will win the King of the Ring, likely courtesy of “The Beast” interfering, or if WWE does the unthinkable and crowns Oba Femi. This move would make the road to SummerSlam highly chaotic and incredibly interesting.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match
Following this past Friday’s dramatic Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther, which featured Sami Zayn as the special guest referee, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced a massive triple threat match between the three for Night of Champions.

This Saturday marks the first time the WWE Championship will be defended in a triple threat match at this event since 2009, when Randy Orton successfully defended the belt against John Cena and Triple H.
Rhodes faces a daunting task in this main event showdown, as tensions are high with both competitors – especially Zayn. The two have been locked in verbal arguments for the last couple of months, a friction that has finally boiled over into physical altercations in recent weeks.
The winner of this match could very well come down to who does the best job of capitalizing when the other two butt heads.
The only question is, will Rhodes find a way to escape this match still holding the gold? Or will Gunther claim the very title he has hunted since arriving on the blue brand? Then again, perhaps Sami Zayn will finally achieve what he has been desperately chasing for years: becoming a World Champion.
