3 Ideal Stipulations Brock Lesnar/Oba Femi III Rubber Match at SummerSlam

Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi have been locked in a battle for the better part of this year. Things all started at this year’s Royal Rumble. Femi eliminated five men in a very impressive showing after entering at number one, but Lesnar eliminated him.

Weeks before WrestleMania, in Vegas, Lesnar issued an open challenge for his opponent. Femi answered, and the two had a great build-up for their match. Lesnar lost majorly with barely any offense in the match, leading to him teasing retirement after it was over.

But he returned weeks before Clash in Italy, attacking Femi and prompting a second match between the two. This time, the two men’s battle was more evenly distributed. Lesnar won after seven F-5’s were thrown by him, reminding Femi after the match that they were even in their disputes. Now it’s pretty clear that the two men will be facing off at SummerSlam for the third time. The only question is which stipulation will the match be under?

Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar Can Have a Falls Count Anywhere Match

There was a huge amount of rage by Lesnar after his loss at WrestleMania, with Femi more than likely feeling the same way after his loss at Clash in Italy. Whenever they meet up next, there’s going to be a lot of security on hand because they’re probably going to be more mad than they’ve ever been before.

A Falls Count Anywhere match can definitely help those issues. The two men could brawl in the stands, fight in the backstage area, or just hit each other on the outside of the ring.

There’s no limit to where they can go to fight each other. The most recent example of this match stipulation happening in WWE was at the Great American Bash last year, where Ethan Page retained his NXT North American Championship against Ricky Saints. WWE doesn’t do this match type often, but when it does pop up on a PLE card, it means that the wrestlers’ rivalry is at its breaking point.

A Last Man Standing Match Will Prove Who’s the Strongest

Like a Falls Count Anywhere match, a Last Man Standing match is advantageous considering the size of both Femi and Lesnar. Fans love to see the big men fight other wrestlers, and even more so when they fight against someone their own size.

To win the match, the winner must beat their opponent so badly that they can’t stand up for the ten count. Once again, Saints was in the last iteration of the match, as he retained his NXT Championship against Trick Williams last November.

Given their mutual hatred, as well as the match result on Sunday, things might have to be reinforced if this is the match that will be happening at SummerSlam. There’s no doubt that both Femi and Lesnar will tear the whole ringside area apart in order to make their opponent stay down for the ten count. A Last Man Standing match will test both their strength and their composure, making it the perfect rubber match for a very entertaining feud.

A Simple No-Disqualification Match could be Entertaining

Femi and Lesnar could make a match stipulation so crazy that it’ll definitely be worthy of the third match between them. However, there is a simpler match that won’t lead to so much destruction outside of the ring. They can do a No Disqualification match to settle their differences. The two of them have flipped tables, thrown chairs, and knocked down countless security guards in their fight to see who will be the better man.

Why can’t they do that for their third match? The only reason there hasn’t been more destruction is that Monday Night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce puts a stop to their confrontations.

A No Disqualification match means that all that destruction is now legal in order to win the match, and that they won’t be disciplined for what happens. To get their anger out, a simple No Disqualification match is a great way to get fans entertained for the final meeting between Femi and Lesnar.
