NXT Revenge Week Two Review (4/21/26) – Saying Goodbye

The Nygma’s View

Borne again

The North American Championship remained with Myles Borne after an unfortunate miscommunication between DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars. The group looked like they were on the same page early on, as the trio on the outside distracted Borne and enabled Lennox to own the momentum, but the cracks began to show.

Despite cracking Borne on the steel steps and having all the momentum, Shugars called an audible on the outside that doomed his teammate. Shugars hopped on the apron, but Borne wisely sent Lennox into him before hitting a match-ending Borne Again, causing DarkState to fume on the outside.

Goodbye, Joe Hendry

Keanu Carver made a statement in his dominant victory over former NXT Champion Joe Hendry. Hendry did well at first in staving off Carver’s brute force, but it wasn’t long before the newcomer flexed his muscles. The former NXT Champion found himself in a world of trouble as Carver began raining down forearm strikes, forcing the official to call for the bell and declare it a knockout victory.

#AndNEW WWE Speed Champion

NXT has a new Speed Champion, and it’s none other than Birthright’s Lexis King. The numbers game proved to be too much to overcome as TNA Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace slapped Prosper, which set him up for a match-ending Coronation from King.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
