We enter April as hot as ever, as WrestleMania 42 fast approaches. Things got absolutely heated on last week’s Friday Night Fight Night, so the WWE Universe doesn’t know what to expect anymore from the Blue brand. Some assumed that things would cool off and we would cruise into WrestleMania 42, but everyone was absolutely wrong. It feels like we’ve been having a WrestleMania for the past two months leading up to the event, and it’s not going to be any different this Friday night. We have the Undisputed WWE and Women’s Champion in the house, as well as their respective challengers. On top of that, two men heading for a collision visit St. Louis, Missouri. Wherever you are in the world, here we are to deliver LIVE WWE SmackDown results for April 3, 2026.
We all know you’re ready, so let’s get right into it. It’s Friday Night Fight Night once more, so allow us to run it down.

WWE SmackDown Results (4/3/26):
After a heated ending to last week’s SmackDown, the hometown “Viper” comes home to St. Louis, Missouri, as Randy Orton kicks off tonight’s Friday show. Orton starts this conversation by mocking Cody Rhodes, asking St. Louis what they wanted to talk about.
The “Apex Predator” said he was going into WrestleMania 42 to do what he needed to and become champion, leaving Cody Rhodes empty-handed as he goes back to his family with his head held high. Orton would add that Rhodes was not a “killer,” and when he gave Randy his blessing, there’s no putting to bed this version of Randy.
Cody Rhodes would hit the ring, and they would go at it, before Randy Orton had a “little help” to batter Rhodes into oblivion.
Rhea Ripley vs. Michin
Mami looks to exact some revenge after last week’s attack on her via Jade Cargill, B-FAB, and her opponent tonight, Michin. Ripley and Michin had a hectic battle, with Rhea almost defeating Michin in short order with a Razor’s Edge and a knee.
Michin would not go away, hitting Ripley with a Poisonrana, followed by Eat Defeat for a near-fall. Jade Cargill, who’s watching on the outside, instructed that she finish the match now.
Ripley would hear the call and go into a flurry. Finally, Ripley would end this match, submitting Michin with the Prism Trap. Post-match, Cargill and her crew would try to get one up on Rhea again. Fortunately, IYO SKY was there to save her RHIYO partner.
Backstage:
- We see Matt Cardona and Aleister Black get into it, with the latter saying Cardona should give in to the darkness like Randy Orton. Cardona wanted to fight tonight, saying he’ll ask Nick Aldis for a match against Black.
- Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa, in the middle of MFT, exchanged words about why they’re protecting the lantern, and that’s when Sikoa ordered him to go and face Uncle Howdy tonight, and he shouldn’t “mess this up.”
