Tama Tonga vs. Uncle Howdy

Tama Tonga will go at it alone, as he battles Uncle Howdy on behalf of MFT. Tama had a lot of trouble with Howdy, finding himself in the Mandible Claw, about to submit. Solo Sikoa would cause a distraction, dangling the lantern in front of Uncle Howdy.

Tama Tonga would hit Howdy from behind and scream at Sikoa, saying he wanted to do it alone and didn’t need help. All this fuss led to Uncle Howdy capitalizing on the situation, hitting Sister Abigail for the win.

After the match, Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa would get into a verbal argument, ending with Tama handing back the lantern to Howdy, saying it has been nothing but problems for MFT.

Backstage:

  • Kit Wilson and The Miz ran into R-Truth, and R-Truth once again misunderstood the situation and inadvertently granted The Miz and Kit Wilson, a duo “cursed” by Danhausen, a WWE Tag Team Title Match.

New U.S. Champion Sami Zayn Speaks

Fresh off his amazing win over Carmelo Hayes last week, #AndNEW United States Champion Sami Zayn addresses the WWE Universe. Before Sami could come out, his WrestleMania 42 opponent, Trick Williams’ music would hit, as he made his way into the ring, accompanied by Lil Yachty.

Trick and Sami got into it before Melo would show up, demanding a shot at a rematch for the U.S. Title. With much thought, Zayn admitted he was right, saying he’ll talk to Nick Aldis to get this thing done tonight.
