D’Angelo’s Phase One was to destroy DarkState. And he did it. He revealed Phase Two of his plan: becoming NXT Champion. He warned Joe Hendry that he would break his face. It’s not business, it’s personal. “Tony D’Angelo will be the next NXT Champion.”
Sol Ruca builds momentum
Sol Ruca defeated Lainey Reid just one week before she challenges Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship. Reid was up for the challenge and even had some help from Jayne as Fatal Influence did all they could to slow Ruca down. It wasn’t enough, though, as Ruca countered her devastating knee strike with a Sol Snatcher as a dejected champion looked on.

Wren Sinclair is the #1 contender for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship
Wren Sinclair punched her ticket to the Speed Tournament Final by defeating the spirited Thea Hail. Sinclair found herself in trouble in a Kimura Lock, but she flipped her hips and locked in the Final Wrench to get the win. She will face Fallon Henley for the title next week in Houston. Fatal Influence and WrenQCC confronted after the match.
