Tatum Paxley is not done with Izzi Dame

The new NXT Women’s North American Champion thanked the crowd for her win. She felt the need to be accepted, but the crowd pushed her to keep going. “I won this title because of all of YOU.” Izzi Dame and the Culling arrived. Dame tried to convince Paxley she hasn’t found herself yet. Dame wants the title back now. She attacked Paxley in the middle of the ring and posed with the title.

Sean Legacy and Eli Knight both pin Jasper Troy

The Triple Threat Match between Sean Legacy, Eli Knight, and Jasper Troy ended controversially with the ultra-rare double pin. Troy dominated the matchup early on due to his severe size advantage, but his speedy opponents proceeded to chop him down thanks to several Superkicks.

Out of nowhere, Keanu Carver appeared and smashed Troy through the announce table, seemingly as a message to the commentator and WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T. Somehow, Troy fought his way back into the match, but he was the victim of near simultaneous splashes, and both Superstars pinned him, making them the winners.

The Birthright welcomes Charlie Dempsey

NXT’s newest faction, Birthright, became even more dangerous when Charlie Dempsey betrayed Tavion Heights and joined their ranks. As the action raged on in the ring, William Regal (Dempsey’s father) and Fit Finlay (Connors’s father) appeared, and they gave the signal to Dempsey to attack Heights. That allowed Connors to deliver a massive running knee strike before King hit a match-ending Coronation.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
