Preview: NWA Powerrr (2/15/22) – Team War Finals

Team War Finals NWA Powerrr

On this week’s edition of NWA Powerrr, viewers will see the Team War Finals take place. Which 3-man team will walk away with a large cash prize? Furthermore, the new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion is set for non-title action, so it’ll be interesting to see how he follows up on his recent title win, which we will discuss in detail later. There will also be a tag team and women’s action set for this week’s show, which makes this episode among the most packed yet. Here’s what to know about the action set to air on FITE at 6:05 PM EST.

The New NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Competes on Powerrr

To say that last weekend was an eventful one for the National Wrestling Alliance would be an understatement. At this past Saturday’s PowerrrTrip event, Trevor Murdoch defended the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Matt Cardona. Despite a spirited effort from Murdoch, it was Cardona that shocked the wrestling world when he captured “The 10 Pounds of Gold.” Shortly thereafter, Cardona was approached by Nick Aldis, who made his intention to redeem his title rematch clause known. On this week’s edition of NWA Powerrr, however, the “Alwayz Ready” action figure enthusiast will be in singles action against “The Savage Gentleman,” Victor Benjamin. While he’s been struggling to pick up a victory in the NWA, especially coming up short in Team War, Benjamin will be looking to regain momentum. Can he do so at the expense of the new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion?

The Team War Finals

On this week’s NWA Powerrr, the Team War Finals take place and the winners of a $30,000 cash prize will be decided. Strictly Business members Chris Adonis and Thom Latimer team with the boisterous El Rudo to take on the powerhouse team of The End, made up of Odinson and Parrow, and wrestling veteran Rodney Mack. Both trios are coming off major victories in their respective multi-man tag team encounters on last week’s show. Now, they are that much closer to coming away $30,000 richer. On paper, either trio would come away victorious. While Strictly Business has the notoriety of being NWA titleholders in different respects, The End has been one of the most physically dominant and imposing teams in the company. It’s difficult to say who comes away victorious, but it’s fair to say that Team War will be nothing short of competitive.
