Preview: NWA Powerrr (9/7/21) – Kylie Rae vs Tootie Lynn

NWA Powerrr Kylie Rae vs Tootie Lynn

The National Wrestling Alliance continues to feel the fallout from NWA EmPowerrr and NWA 73 from two weekends ago. On this week’s edition of NWA Powerrr, there is plenty to see and witness. In what’s being touted as an NWA exclusive, Kylie Rae vs Tootie Lynn will take place; fans will remember the latter for her involvement in the recent NWA Women’s Invitational Cup. Also slated for action are two tag team tournament quarterfinal bouts. Additionally, for the first time since losing the gold to Trevor Murdoch, former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis will speak. Here’s what to expect tonight at 6:05 PM EST on NWA Powerrr.

NWA Powerrr Card (9/7/21)

  • Tag Team Tournament Quarterfinal Match: Mims and Sal Rinauro vs Slice Boogie and Marshe Rockett
  • Tag Team Tournament Quarterfinal Match: The End (Odinson and Parrow) vs Jordan Clearwater and Cyon

  • Nick Aldis Addresses His Future

Kylie Rae vs Tootie Lynn & Other In-Ring Action

In addition to the two aforementioned tag team tournament quarterfinal matches, two singles bouts are set to take place. In one of said bouts, Jeremiah Plunkett will take on Judais, supported by veteran wrestling manager Father James Mitchell. Judais made an impact at NWA 73, being a surprise entrant in the battle royal to determine a new number one contender for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. Last eliminating JTG, Judais emerged victorious, earning himself a future title shot. On tonight’s edition of NWA Powerrr, he battles Jeremiah Plunkett. Though Plunkett will give it everything he has, expect the NWA newcomer to assert his dominance.

In women’s action, on NWA Powerrr, “Smiley” Kylie Rae vs Tooie Lynn will take place. Between her three-way encounter at NWA EmPowerrr and her singles match with Mickie James the following evening at NWA 73, Rae’s weekend was incredibly eventful. Though she lost both matches, Rae’s spirited demeanor couldn’t have been denied. As mentioned earlier, St. Louis native Tootie Lynn was part of the NWA Women’s Invitational Cup at EmPowerrr. Lynn made it to the final two competitors, ultimately being eliminated by winner Chelsea Green. Tonight, Rae and Lynn will face off in what’s sure to be a must-see match.

Nick Aldis Speaks

At NWA 73, a dominant title reign came to an end. In the main event, Nick Aldis lost the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship to Trevor Murdoch, who realized his destiny on that night. Since then, the wrestling world hasn’t heard from “The National Treasure.” This will change tonight on NWA Powerrr, as he addresses the fans. Aldis will expand on his future in the NWA, not to mention professional wrestling itself. One would think that Aldis’s loyalties remain to the NWA; he held the promotion’s world title for over 1,000 days, after all. However, as “The Forbidden Door” continues to open, “The Dealer” may find himself exploring other opportunities. Learn more on this week’s edition of NWA Powerrr.
