Tracy Williams has captured the ROH World Television Championship at the ROH 19th Anniversary Show pay-per-view. The opening contest of the main card saw Tracy Williams defeat Kenny King to capture his first ROH World Television Title.
Kenny King was defending the belt on behalf of his La Facción Ingobernable stablemate Dragon Lee, who was pulled from the card earlier in the week. Dragon Lee required surgery to address a minor eardrum injury. Both Kenny King and Tracy Williams will compete again later in the evening as Williams and Rhett Titus will challenge Bestia Del Ring and King for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Bestia will be taking current champion Lee’s place in the tag title match.

A recurring theme for this event is The Foundation vs. La Facción Ingobernable. Going into the event, LFI had possession of the World Tag Team, World Television, and World Championships. The Foundation holds the Pure Championship as Jonathan Gresham currently sits on top of the Pure Division. Now, Tracy William adds the Television Title to the Foundation’s resume.
The Foundation is off to a good start for the night as Williams was able to overcome King and Amy Rose, who made her presence know at ringside during the match. We will see what faction holds the majority of gold when the 19th Anniversary Show comes to a close.
