Sevilla Are Reportedly Interested
Alex Telles came to Manchester United from Porto in 2020, following 129 league appearances for the Portuguese side. Now it seems doubtful whether he will reach such a high tally at the Theatre of Dreams, as the Brazilian international could leave the club in the coming weeks.
Telles’ former team Porto are said to not be interested in signing him again this summer, despite rumours. Sevilla are allegedly keeping tabs on the left-back, but are yet to make a move on him. The deal is reportedly largely dependent on Manchester United to cover part of the salary, which is expected to be discussed shortly.

His Career So Far
Alex Telles went through the youth academy of Brazilian side Juventude, subsequently making his senior debut for them in 2011. After two seasons, Telles departed for Grêmio, giving the left-back his first taste of top-flight football in the country.

Following another two-season stint, the Brazilian made his first move abroad to Galatasaray in January 2014, and over a year and a half later, he was loaned out to Inter Milan, finally getting valuable experience in one of Europe’s top leagues.
Porto liked what they saw so much that they signed Telles from I Nerazzurri on a permanent deal in 2016, with the Brazilian staying in Portugal for four years until being signed by Manchester United. In addition to his club career, Telles has won six caps for the Brazilian national team since 2019, when he made his debut against Panama in a friendly.
