Juventus are in talks to extend the contract of influential midfielder Paulo Dybala, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Serie A champions’ Football Managing Director Fabio Paratici has confirmed that discussions are underway, and has also claimed that Dybala wants to remain in Turin.

Paratici has told Sky in Italy that the club are ‘in talks’ to extend Paulo Dybala’s contract.
“He wants to stay and we want to keep him; he’s part of our future. We’ll continue the negotiations [in order] to find an agreement,” said the former Sampdoria scouting manager.
Argentine international Dybala joined Juventus from Palermo in July 2015, and is under contract until June 2022. The 26-year-old has made 229 appearances so far for the Italian giants, scoring 95 goals.
Dybala, who can play anywhere across the midfield as well as in the forward positions, has developed into one of Serie A‘s most potent attacking performers.
Despite a disappointing 2019/20 season under former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, Dybala was still able to score 17 goals and provide a further 14 assists over the course of a campaign in which he formed an encouraging partnership with Portuguese great Cristiano Ronaldo. Such a contribution saw him named as the club’s Player of the Year.
Dybala Looking to Add to Domestic Success
Since making the move to Turin, Dybala has won the Serie A title with Juventus in each of the last five seasons. Additionally, he has won three domestic cups and two Italian Super Cups with the Old Lady.
Under the management of legendary former midfielder Andrea Pirlo, the club will be looking to maintain their dominance on domestic soil and push for a first European Cup triumph since 1996.
Dybala is yet to make an appearance in the league this season, and is working his way back to full fitness from a thigh problem he suffered before the opening week of the 2020/21 campaign.
