England Team News

Jordan Pickford starts in goal with a defensive line of Reece James, Marc Guehi, Exri Konsa, and Miles Lewis-Skelly. Declan Rice is in midfield with Jarrod Bowen, Morgan Rogers, Marcus Rashford, Jude Bellingham, and Harry Kane all starting as attackers.

Notable Changes

There’s a few changes made to the lineup with Dan Burns dropping out and Bowen getting a start in the attack. Guehi coming in is a solid defensive partnership in the middle. Where the big question comes is whether this is more of a 4-3-3 or a 4-1-4-1 with Rice sitting and allowing those ahead of him to dominate the ball and pick Latvia apart. James’ role will also be one to watch, he’s operated in midfield a lot for Chelsea and may invert to help Rice instead of pushing forward.
