The Athletic have reported that all three players are in contention to play for the Red Devils in the upcoming game against David Moyes’ side. Ruben Amorim gave a positive update on the players’ situations, stating: “We did not lose players, but we have recovered some. With Chris (Eriksen) it was a misunderstanding (over his heart issue); he is healthy, he is ready to play for many years at a high level.  I felt that the week is very good. I see some things in training and sometimes it is hard to pass that to the game but tomorrow is another opportunity to show a better performance.”

Amad Diallo is reportedly out for the rest of the season after getting injured in training, while Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer are still injured. Luke Shaw is also taking a lot of time recovering from his injury, while Lisandro Martinez is also ruled out for the rest of the term because of a knee injury he suffered in the recent 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace.

The Uruguayan midfielder was hailed as “essential” earlier this campaign and has produced a number of admirable performances in his 18 Premier League appearances this season, being particularly impressive in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
