This is a Chelsea Women predicted lineup for their clash with Leicester City women in the WSL. The Blues are aiming to get back on track after losing their grip at the top of the table to Manchester City women despite missing a number of players through injury and international duty.

How Chelsea Women Have Lined Up Recenly
Hannah Hampton appears to be the number one option but she has shared goalkeeping duties with Zećira Mušović. Jess Carter, Maren Mjelde, Nathalie Björn, Kadiesha Buchanan, Niamh Charles, Ashley Lawrence, and Ève Périsset have lined out in the back four.

Erin Cuthbert and Melanie Leupolz has been the first-choice defensive midfield pairing with Sophie Ingle and even Jelena Čanković being rotated in recent weeks. Sjoeke Nüsken has also played here during the season but her last start came at right back surprisingly.
Fran Kirby, Lauren James, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, and Guro Reiten are the main options for the attacking midfield spots with Aggie Beever-Jones offering an option off the bench. Mayra Ramirez has slotted in as the starting striker since her move from Levante.
Chelsea Women Recent Form and Tactics
Emma Hayes has settled on a 4-2-3-1 formation for the majority of the season and the results have been positive. A defeat last time out against Manchester City was only their second defeat in all competitions but did follow up an uninspiring win over second-division Crystal Palace with that loss.

A first defeat in months before the international break shouldn’t be enough to derail the momentum of a side that pulled off a string of dominant wins across all competitions with clean sheets and at least three goals scored being the norm.
Chelsea Women Absences to Consider
Hayes confirmed in her press conference that Kirby and Mjelde are doubts for this one. Millie Bright and Cat Macario are back on the grass training but may not be fit to start here. Buchanan and Lawrence are representing Canada in the Gold Cup and will miss this one. The ACL bug has taken another name as Mia Fishel joins Aniek Nouwen and Sam Kerr on the sidelines with a torn ACL. To cap it off, James is suspended for this clash.
