What Would Toney Bring to the Gunners?

Adding Ivan Toney would give the North London side’s attack a new dimension. Despite good performances from the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, Mikel Arteta’s side lack a proper target-man type forward who can cause problems in the opposition box with his physicality.

At Brentford, Toney has contributed with 32 goals and 9 assists across 66 Premier League appearances. He could provide a direct threat in the box which is something Arsenal lack at this point in time.

If Edu Gaspar and Arteta decide to pursue this option, it could prove to be a massive shot in the arm for a young side chasing titles this season.
