The Athletic adds that the Blues’ owners always had it in their minds to permanently sign Felix if he managed to impress in his loan spell. So far, the 23-year-old has done pretty well. It is also stated that Atletico Madrid will be willing to accept a fee in the region of £80 million and are ready to cash in on his sale. The Chelsea owners are now exploring the possibility of splashing the cash and are willing to spend even more money in the summer window, even after signing players like Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk for massive fees in January.
