How Leeds United Have Lined-up Recently

Leeds United tend to line up in either a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3. At least that was the case when Jesse Marsch managed the side. Illan Meslier starts in net, with Luke Ayling at right-back and Pascal Struijk opposite him. Robin Koch and Max Wober play at centre-back, with Tyler Adams and Marc Roca protecting the back-line from midfield.

Willy Gnonto plays on the left-wing, with Jack Harrison playing down the middle. Brenden Aaronson plays out on the wide right, with the bank of three providing chances for centre-forward Patrick Bamford.

Leeds United Recent Form

The Whites are currently on horrendous form, without a win since November 5. Such horrible form has led to Jesse Marsch losing his job at the club, but a change of management could drive the side towards new tactics, and potentially better results in the near future.

Leeds United Injuries to Consider

Rodrigo stays out of the squad with a severe injury to his foot, with Archie Gray and Adam Forshaw still working towards a full recovery. Sonny Perkins stays out with an ankle injury as Stuart Dallas still doesn’t have a return date.

Thankfully Robin Koch does return to the team, coming back from his suspension for getting five yellow cards throughout the season so far.

Leeds United Predicted Lineup

The club could see a change towards a 4-3-3, adding a central midfielder for more solidity and taking out Pascal Struijk for poor form. Old Trafford could see Leeds United line up with this side:

  • Illan Meslier
  • Luke Ayling
  • Robin Koch
  • Max Wober
  • Junior Firpo
  • Tyler Adams
  • Marc Roca
  • Weston McKennie

  • Luis Sinisterra
