Manchester United vs Leeds United – Predictions and Best Odds

Manchester United Current Run of Form

Erik ten Hag’s side is on a strong run of form. Having lost only one match of the last eight, defensive solidity has become a fundamental part of the club over the past few months, with Marcus Rashford’s uptick in form doing a lot of good for the club. Losing Casemiro to a red card against Crystal Palace could prove harmful, but the Manchester club seem to have plenty of quality available to them.

Leeds United Current Run of Form

Leeds United are currently on a horrendous run. Jesse Marsch lost his job as manager thanks to a lack of league wins since November, and wins over Cardiff City and Accrington Stanley were barely enough to keep him in post beyond the January window. The Whites are looking to rebuild now, with owner Andrea Radrizzani stating that a new manager is on the way

The Roses Rivalry

England is a relatively calm country, without a history of revolutions or violent outbreaks. The Civil War is the exception. Fought between the Lancastrians and the House of York, it was a conflict that still has an impact today, with both sides of the Pennines holding a distaste for the other. The Roses rivalry between these historic clubs is one of the most prominent examples of this staunch disagreement in modern society.

Manchester United vs Leeds United Prediction

Although Leeds United will look to have some hope of a new manager bounce, it doesn’t look too promising for the Whites. Marcus Rashford will look to hammer home his recent form with some more goals, which should cover for the loss of Casemiro to suspension. A Manchester United win is on the cards, but there is a chance of success for the Yorkshire club if Casemiro proves to be a big miss.

Current Odds: The Red Devils vs The Whites

Manchester United are clear favourites at 8/15, with a Leeds United win coming in at 6/1.
