A third successful loan in a row could be what pushes the Welshman to the next level after spending a few years gaining experience after being on the fringe of the first team in London.

A Potential Breakthrough

This indicates that Boehly has eyes on giving Ampadu a chance to become a first-team player. This wouldn’t be the first chance the young defender has had as he was a member of the squad in 2017/18 and 2018/19 but never became a regular. With more experience under his belt, we may see him make a breakthrough next season after his second stint in Italy comes to an end.
