Fabrizio Romano: Manchester United ‘Really Keen’ on ‘Attacking Monster’, Official Bid Could Come in Under Two Days

Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United

Fabrizio Romano has given the latest on the Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United transfer saga in a video on his YouTube channel. The football insider revealed many details of the case, including the fact that United could make a bid as early as next week, but again conceded that it will not be an easy one for them to conclude.

Fabrizio Romano Reveals Manchester United Could Bid on Benjamin Sesko in Coming Days

What Did Romano Say?

The Italian Journalist shared plenty of information in his video.

“Manchester United are really keen on this boy; they consider him a top talent,” Romano revealed.

“United have had some contacts on the agent’s side and on the club’s side with Salzburg to understand the situation around Sesko, this talented boy playing for Red Bull Salzburg.

“I told you that it’s not an easy deal because Salzburg’s plan is to sell the player next summer, in summer 2023, and not this summer. This is why it’s not an easy one, but United are exploring the possibility for this summer, so they want to anticipate the other many clubs interested in Sesko.”

He also talked about how forthcoming an official offer from the Red Devils could be: “At the moment there is still no official bid because they’re trying to understand what will happen with Cristiano Ronaldo. We know that they are keen on keeping Anthony Martial at the club, but let’s see if Cristiano stays at Manchester United. So the striker situation at United is still a domino, and this is why there is still no official bid.

“But Manchester United are really keen on Sesko. They consider him a top talent and let’s see if now they will decide to submit an official proposal. Next week will be important to understand what happens around Sesko, with many many clubs interested but with United really keen on this talented striker from Salzburg. But, as mentioned, it’s not going to be an easy negotiation.”

The Sesko saga could be about to see some rapid developments. With Romano revealing that an official proposal could come as early as next week, there are less than two days until we could see movement from Old Trafford.

It was recently reported that Salzburg had slapped a £55 million pricetag on the “attacking monster”‘s head, but with United unwilling to match that valuation, it remains to be seen whether a deal can be completed this summer.
