Liverpool will try to secure a long-term deal for their manager Jurgen Klopp, Fabrizio Romano reports. The Merseyside club is having another great season. After the 2-0 win over Villareal the Champions League final spot looks almost secured. Liverpool are also just one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League and will push until the final day to regain the title. The EFL Cup has already been won in a dramatic final against Chelsea. The same opponent awaits Liverpool in the final of the FA Cup.
No matter what happens in the next month, this is the first year in which Liverpool are successfully competing in all four competitions. This huge success, combined with the beautiful football that Liverpool play, is highly appreciated by the board. They will therefore hope to tie up the manager with a long-term deal. Jurgen Klopp will likely pocket a pay rise too.

Jurgen Klopp’s Success With Liverpool
The German manager has won almost every possible trophy he could at Anfield.

In the next two seasons, the hard work finally paid off. Liverpool first won the Champions League in 2018/19, defeating Tottenham Hotspur in the final. Next season the biggest wait in the history of the club was finally over. After 30 long years, Liverpool had finally been crowned champions of England again. In a remarkable season that will never be forgotten by all the passionate supporters, Klopp’s team collected 99 points.
Klopp has proven to be the right man for Liverpool and it doesn’t come as a surprise that the club wants him to stay for many more seasons.
