It is no secret that Chelsea loanees are having a season to remember, from Conor Gallagher, all the way to Armando Broja. Both have particularly impressed in the Premier League, and it comes as no surprise to see reports beginning to circulate about both of their futures.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Southampton are set to launch a £25 million bid to make Broja a permanent member of their frontline. Of course, at this stage, the deal is yet to even make progress. But, given the success that Broja’s had as a Saint, a permanent move would come as little surprise.
On the other side of the deal, however, is Chelsea. Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a big fan of the forward, which should prevent any deal. After splashing the cash on Romelu Lukaku last summer, though, it remains to be seen whether Broja could force his way into the Chelsea side.

Broja Deserves Chelsea Chance
Despite sealing a big money move from Inter Milan in the summer, Lukaku’s second stint at Chelsea is yet to take off. The Belgium was caught in somewhat of a media storm not so long ago, following a controversial interview. Now out of that storm, his form hasn’t exactly been what you would describe as €115 million.
Broja can solve Tuchel’s Lukaku problem. At Inter, Lukaku worked best when partnered by Lautaro Martinez. He doesn’t have that crucial partner at Stamford Bridge. Enter Armando Broja – a man that looks destined for success.
At Southampton, the Albanian forward has more than proved his worth. There is no doubt that he deserves a chance at Chelsea. Far too often, we have seen players simply shipped back out on loan after success. Broja has earned the chance to impress those at Chelsea.
