With one week remaining, the current Chelsea transfer news remains fairly quiet. However, according to The Athletic, there is a chance that there could yet be movements both ways before the deadline.

Chelsea Transfer News: Interest in Barcelona Duo But English Midfielder Could Depart

Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Armando Broja Latest

Having made just 12 appearances in all competitions, the future of Ross Barkley at Stamford Bridge remains bleak.

According to the report, the Blues are willing to listen to offers for the 28-year-old, who has played just 428 minutes under Thomas Tuchel this season.

Elsewhere, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has attracted interest from Serie A side Juventus but Tuchel wants to keep him in the fold at Stamford Bridge. The 26-year-old has turned out 20 times so far this season.

Meanwhile, the club may have to make a decision on Southampton loanee Armando Broja. The Saints have begun talks over making his deal a permanent one but Tuchel is an admirer of the striker and may look to give him game time next season.

Barcelona Duo Could be Heading to Stamford Bridge

During this transfer window, Chelsea have looked for further options in the full-back area. Their attempts to recall Emerson from his loan spell at Lyon have been dealt a blow but their interest in Barcelona defender Sergiño Dest remains.

Despite the interest, Reece James is almost back to action and Tuchel has Kenedy and Malang Sarr at his disposal, with the latter performing well in recent weeks.

With that in mind, they may end their pursuit of the USA international but another Barca player that Chelsea are eyeing up is Ousmane Dembele. The France international has refused to sign a new deal with the Catalan club and Tuchel, who worked with the forward at Borussia Dortmund, is a fan of the 24-year-old. Reports suggest that the Blues want to sign him now rather than waiting until the summer when his contract expires.
