Arthur Melo Juventus Departure Depends on Success of Club’s Pursuit of Replacement

Arthur Melo Juventus

As per Fabrizio Romano, the future of Arthur Melo at Juventus depends on whether the Italian club can find a suitable replacement this month. The Brazilian midfielder, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, has only made 13 appearances this season. At 25, too, he will be keen to get his career back on track – something perhaps only a move away can do.

As for incoming replacements, Juventus are among the clubs appreciating soon to be out of contract Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria. According to Romano, however, talks are yet to take place for the Swiss international.

Arthur Needs Move

As each week goes by at Juventus, Arthur’s previously promised potential decreases more and more. The former Barcelona man was touted to go straight to the very top. A few years down the line, however, and the midfielder has struggled to live up to the aforementioned hype. The main aim now will be to get a move away from the Italian giants and onto bigger and better things.

The project taking place at Arsenal will be of interest to several players in the next few months, and is undoubtedly something Arthur could consider.

Zakaria Saga Goes on

Denis Zakaria is having to be more patient than most in the transfer window. It is clear that his future – at least after this summer – does not lie with Gladbach. And, usually in this instance, clubs opt for profit over the sale of a player for free. The problem that Gladbach have, though, is that they are yet to receive an offer for Zakaria.

There’s a lot of interest in the midfielder, but right now, it’s just that. Of course, the world of football changes everyday, but, for now, Zakaria remains a Gladbach midfielder.
