There’s been a lot of debate surrounding the future of Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane this summer and his future has now been thrown into even more doubt with the news that the striker hasn’t shown up for training with his club, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Harry Kane: Tottenham Hotspur’s Best Player

The player has spent the summer battling for England at the Euro 2020 tournament amid ongoing rumours that he might be off to join Manchester City in a huge mega-money deal.

The 28-year old has now returned from that international break but hasn’t appeared at Spurs’ training session this morning – throwing further questions up about whether he is indeed set to move on from his current club in pursuit of trophies.

Kane has been one of the most impressive strikers not only in the Premier League but in European football to boot over the course of the past few seasons and with City searching desperately for a forward to replace the departed Sergio Aguero, they could be a match made in heaven.

Spurs Won’t Want to Sell to Divisional Rival

However, Spurs will be extremely reluctant to let their prized asset leave, especially to a division rival. But the player himself looks like he finally wants out of Tottenham, with Kane reportedly believing he can leave if a decent offer comes in.

Last campaign he was in fine form yet again, with a superb 37 goal contributions in 35 games – that put his average at 1.08 goals or assists every game that he played in- one of the best records in Europe.

Kane Boosts Any Side He Plays for

If Kane plays, then whatever side he plays for is boosted dramatically, of that there is no question. City are desperate to continue challenging for the Premier League title – and determined to finally bag the Champions League and signing Kane would go a long way towards doing that.

With this latest report emerging, it looks like the player certainly wants to leave for pastures new – and this means City might actually get another world-class player in their ranks soon.
