REPORT: Three Clubs David Silva Could Join in the Summer

David Silva will go down as one of the best midfielders to ever grace the Premier League after being part of a Manchester City side that won it all in England when together. And with the Spaniard set to leave City in the summer, the only player left in the starting lineup from 2012 will be Sergio Agüero, signalling the end of an era in Manchester.

Next season will be the first in ten years that Silva doesn’t line up in the sky blue of Manchester City, with the 34-year-old more likely to be wearing an Inter Miami pink or an AC Milan red.

With that being said, here are possible destinations for David Silva in the summer.

REPORT: Three Clubs David Silva Could Join in the Summer

Vissel Kobe

With David Silva on the move in the summer, the rumours have been circulating about the Spaniards next club with Japanese side Vissel Kobe among those already mentioned.

According to the Metro, Silva could link up with former Spain teammate Andreas Iniesta in a summer move to Japan. The move would undoubtedly attract plenty of more fans to Japanese football with David Silva becoming the star man alongside Iniesta.

The move to Japan would make sense for Silva, who would be reuniting with some familiar faces whilst earning more than enough for retirement.

AC Milan

Despite being past his prime at the age of 34, there are zero doubts about Silva’s ability to still play at the highest of levels, meaning a move to a top club is still a possibility.

According to the Daily Mail, that top club could well be AC Milan. The Italian giants are reportedly prepared to battle it out with David Beckham’s Inter Miami for the Spaniards’ signature.

A move to Italy would see Silva link up with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to form a dream partnership and potentially propel Milan back amongst the big boys in Serie A.

Inter Miami

With the financial backing and the attraction of taking part in David Beckham’s project, a move to Inter Miami in the summer also looks on the cards for Silva, who would become the first of many ageing stars to join forces with Beckham and co.

The Spaniard would be following in the footsteps of fellow midfield greats, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, who also blessed the MLS with their incredible talents. The Independent have reported that David Silva is attracted by the idea of becoming Inter Miami’s first marquee signing.
