Liverpool’s terrific season resumes following the conclusion of the winter break with a trip to the Premier League’s bottom club Norwich City. Jurgen Klopp’s team are on the hunt for a 16th consecutive league win where Sadio Mane is expected to make his return from injury.

Sadio Mane is Fully Available After His Hamstring Injury
The Reds head to Norwich in buoyant mood fresh off an excellent win over Southampton and a much-needed break. They head to Carrow Road hunting a 16th consecutive league win and hoping to heap more misery on the Premier League’s bottom club.
However, Norwich will certainly give Liverpool a game, with Daniel Farke constantly sticking to his attacking principals. Teemu Pukki will look to get in behind while Emiliano Buendia will be the creator Liverpool need to keep quiet, but Norwich will largely be on the back foot with Liverpool refreshed and raring to go.
The break came at a perfect time for the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp delighted to welcome back Sadio Mane from injury. The African Player of the Year has sat out Liverpool’s last four games, but he is fully recovered and will return to the team this weekend.
The signs appear ominous for the Canaries as Liverpool look to take themselves a step closer to a first league title in 30 years. The Canaries are in rotten form, winning just once in 12 league games. Both sides need the three points and both sides enjoy attacking so expect an entertaining clash in East Anglia.
Liverpool are Finally Settled Defensively
There was a period in the season where Liverpool struggled to keep clean sheets and regularly conceded goals. They went 11 games in all competitions without a clean sheet during October and November.
However, they are very much looking strong at the back certainly since Joe Gomez recaptured his form alongside Virgil van Dijk. The England defender has stepped up with injuries blighting Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren.
Norwich will have to be at their ultimate best to break down Liverpool’s rock-solid defence. The Reds have conceded just one goal in the last nine Premier League games.
