Transfer Rumours – Chelsea

According to Neil Fissler of the Daily Express, Chelsea target Elseid Hysaj is set to sign a new contract with Napoli.

The Albanian international is attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe, including Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester United. Last season, he made 37 appearances for Napoli as they finished second in Serie A.

However, this deal depends on Chelsea’s transfer ban. Currently, it expires next summer. However, the Blues are appealing to have it reduced to allow them to sign players in January.

Tottenham Hotspur Tracking Italian Youngster

Neil Fissler of The Express also claims that Tottenham Hotspur are tracking Italian youngster Riccardo Sottil.

The 20-year-old is currently plying his trade with Fiorentina in Serie A. Despite making only two appearances so far this season, he has caught the headlines with impressive performances.

It signals an intent to undergo transformation by Tottenham. They are turning their focus to youth, in the bid to create a team for the future.

Everton Pursuing New Striker

According to Chris Beesley of the Liverpool Echo, Everton are interested in RB Leipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen.

The towering Danish striker has spent the majority of his career with the Bundesliga side. Last season was his best to date as a professional, registering 19 times in all competitions. However, so far this season he has scored just the once.

Everton currently have a host strikers not scoring. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the only goal scored by a Blues striker this season. As a result, manager Marco Silva is exploring new options for his side
